4. Refinement + Implementation

We complete detailed engineering specifications and create an engineering package that can be used to source vendors and manufacture the product. We are in constant communication with vendors and the client throughout this process to ensure a smooth transition.

Phase Four activities may include:

- Completing the detailed engineering CAD database
- Optimizing design for manufacturing
- Creating a bill of materials
- Reviewing tool and part costs
- Building working prototypes
- Conducting tests
- Conducting FEA(Finite Element Analysis)
- Overseeing regulatory tests
- Handing off to manufacturing
